Minja is a lifelong resident in Vegas and a community advocate for protecting public lands and advancing safe, complete street design.

In 2025, she mobilized the community to host town halls and successfully helped defeat two federal bills that would have privatized more than 65,000 acres of public land in Clark County, including areas near Blue Diamond Hill, Mountain’s Edge, Southern Highlands, and Inspirada.

She has also worked on regional urban planning and transportation initiatives focused on improving public transit and creating safer streets for cyclists, pedestrians, and drivers alike.
